We celebrated our 54th birthday today!

We are 54 years old! We celebrated God’s 54 years’ of faithfulness in style today, Sunday 25th August, 2013!

People from all generations, seniors, adults, youth and children came together to lead the congregation in worship with music, singing and dancing, with musical instruments, tambourines, clapping, flags and banners. What a joyful noise it was! Rev T Jeyakumar preached the Word to us from 2 Timothy 3:14-17 reminding us to be faithful to the Bible.

After the 8.30 am service, we celebrated with a birthday cake and breakfast and had a wonderful time of fellowship. The 10.45 am service was rescheduled to 11.00 am and the 10.45 am congregation joined the 8.00 am congregation in the celebrations at 10.00 am.

Ruth Wong, “creator”, choreographer, had this to say, “It was a refreshing & God-filled time in church yesterday when we celebrated God’s faithfulness upon our church for the past 54 years.  You are AWESOME, God! Thank You for a great time together – worshiping You is indeed fun & joyous! XD. Much thanks to all who made this celebration one to remember indeed.”

Rev Ting Moy Hong said, “God be praised for the ‘new song’ we sang unto HIM.”
