TOPIC : STAYING RESILIENT WHEN BEING HEMMED IN DURING THE PANDEMIC

During this unprecedented crisis of Covid-19 pandemic, understandably mental health issues have become an echo pandemic as well. Many feel trapped unable to move ahead. There has been a surge of depression and anxiety . What can we do when we feel trapped within? How can I reach out ?

This talk will help to unpack issues surrounding mental health and highlight some basic steps to manage our stress and emotions. We will learn to detect early warning signs and gain helpful measures to take proactive steps to manage the emotions.
As a community of faith , we can be aware of the stresses and strains which will help us to reach out to those struggling with mental health and create a safe and restorative surrounding with the family and community ..

Dr Joe Ting, will share his knowledge and experience with us to enable us to identify and be equipped when faced with the mental health dilemma’s

The Malaysia Year of Prayer 2021 is from 16 September 2020 to 15 September 2021. This is the third MYOP initiative. This year’s MYOP theme is based on Psalm 126:5-6.
