Awaken 2012

 

About 30 of our youths and some 10 adults attended Awaken 2012 on 15th September, 2012 at Sungei Way Subang Methodist Church (SSMC) at Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara, Petaling Jaya. Awaken 2012 was the brainchild of Josiah Liew, who, together with a group of Jeremiah School graduates and the TRAC Board of Youth Work organised this Prayer and Praise event in conjunction with Malaysia Day on 16th September, 2012. The three- hour event was well-attended by many, many youths and adults from churches all over Klang Valley. The Bishop Dr Hwa Yung shared a beautiful message and challenged the youths to think about what they were going to do with their lives and more importantly what God wanted them to be doing with their lives. Many responded to the altar call. It was truly inspiring to be led in praise and prayer by the youths.
